Desert Day for Pentecost
Twelve people gathered on Saturday 27th May to reflect and pray around the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit. The day was facilitated by Phyllis Moynihan RSM and Ann Mulcahy, Raheen Parish.
Ann completed the Lay Pastoral Ministry Leadership programme in the diocese. Ann led the group in a beautiful reflection on the ancient prayer to the Holy Spirit, Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful….. and Phyllis led a reflection on the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Fr. JP O’Riordan CSsR brought the day to a close with a beautiful celebration of the Eucharist and an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The Desert Day was a prayer filled and reflective day and everybody left with a deeper appreciation of the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
